Hi there, Christine here! I decided to use a Halloween stamp & die set repurposed as a coffee parade. While I have yet to hear of a coffee parade, I definitely feel there should be one out there somewhere! Coffee is definitely something to celebrate.
I used the Hello Bluebird “Spooky Spellers” stamp & die and the My Favorite Things Stitched Banners die from Super Sponsor Simon Say Stamps to create the cute critters and banner. I also used the Slimline Card Series Scalloped Card Panels die set and Slimline Series: The Great Outdoors Borders & Builders Die Set from Super Sponsor Trinity Stamps to create the slimline panel, grass & fence.
I stamped all the cute critters from the “Spooky Spellers” stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock and then die cut them with the coordinating dies. The grass was cut with 80 lb green cardstock I had in my stash with the Slimline Series: The Great Outdoors Borders & Builders Die Set, the fence was cut with a die in that same set out of 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock. I die cut the slimline panel with the largest panel die in the Slimline Card Series Scalloped Card Panels die set– out of 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock; I quickly ink blended some clouds with a stencil and distress oxide ink in speckled egg.
The banner was also die cut out of 110lb Neenah cardstock in solar white and copic colored with E35; I separated the letters from the banners and used the letter on the papers that the critters were holding up. I then die cut those banners again out of gold cardstock and used the gold letters with the brown banners. The yellow twine is from Stampin Up.
I kept the copic coloring on the critters pretty simple, the bunny was W3 and W0, the squirrel was light and dark crumb cake (Stampin Up), the bat was C5, C3 and 100, the skunk was C3 and C5, the cat was YR21.
I hope that you like the card- thank you so much for stopping by today!
