Hello Coffee Lovers!!
It’s time for Brew & Craft Your Stash!! Challenge #61 in the 75 Creative Card Challenges Magazine by Paper Crafts 2013!! Grab your drink of choice and get ready for some great crafty ideas!!!
Challenge #61 – Die Cut a Die Cut. One card in the magazine cut alpha’s from a string of circles. Another cut a butterfly window in a label and stamped the matching butterfly image. A third card die cut a circle from a circle and the last card cut a leaf from an heart die cut.
I pulled out an older Heart die set from Little B and cut a read heart. With Fun Stampers Journey Coffee First die set I first cut the heart with the coffee cup die. Then I cut the cup from Catherine Poolers Feeling Chilly pattern paper. I placed the cup in the notch it made in the heart and then cut the cozy and then the coffee top.
I cut the cozy from pattern paper and the top from white card stock. With a grey copic I added a little shading to the coffee top. Then it was a matter of adhering it together!
At this point I decided to add my heart and coffee with foam tape. So I trimmed some pattern paper and adhered it to a white card base. Then I just added the heart and coffee cup with foam tape matching up the pieces like a puzzle. The heart and coffee cup are all one layer!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope this encourages you use your dies in a new way!
