Hello coffee loving crafters… We are so happy to have Autumn back again with us as Guest Designer! Here’s her card and all about it.
Hi friends! For this week I decided to go all out for fall plaid with a PSL inspired design. I snagged a few delicious stamps at the last huge Concord & 9th sale. I was eager to make a fall shaker card with my new Gingham Background stamp set. I created a technique with my stamp platform for background stamps and shared a video tutorial HERE. The trick to this technique is combining Distress Inks with Distress Oxides and spritzing with water between layers. I used Antique Linen and Frayed Burlap Distress Inks with Tea Stain Distress Oxide for this background.
I used the dies from the Coffee Blend Turnabout Bundle to cut to cut my window and embossed the sentiment on my background panel, cut from a Stamplorations stitched border die. I like to grunge up my cards, so I sponged the edges of the panel with more Frayed Burlap and added some vintage washi tape. I added a Tim Holtz sticker sentiment and layered loopy bows.
Inside I adhered the cutout coffee cup to hold a coffee gift card. The sentiment and heart dies are from the Turnabout Bundle. It was such fun making this card! I’ve already had my first PSL of the season and hope you will grab yourself a cuppa and get crafty friends.
Hugs, Autumn
Isn’t that Autumn’s card super sweet? Thank you so much for stopping by our blog today. Have a fabulous day!
