Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hello everyone! We have a new guest designer for this month. The September Guest Designer is… Autumn Clark! We are so lucky to have her this month. She will be sharing her awesome projects with us on every Friday.

Hiya coffee loving crafters! I’m thrilled to be sharing with you as guest designer this month.I have been a huge CLC fan since day one. I am an avid stamper, passionate about sharing techniques. Typically my cards have a mixed media or “more is more” look to them.  But these crazy days are anything goes and I’ve been venturing out into coloring and CAS. For me it’s all about the process with a fresh brew in hand as I go…

Lately I have been crazy in love with the stamp brand AALL & Create. I was itching to have another play with the Flower Pots stamp set, designed by Fiona Paltridge.This set really speaks to me because it mixes coffee cups with plants – a win win in my book!

I loosely colored the image three times using Distress Inks in Vintage Photo, Antique Linen and Weathered Wood. I like to extend my coloring beyond the image so it cuts without a gaping white border. I used my mop up panel as the base for my background with layered stamping in the coordinating inks. To add some dimension, I tacked down strips of lace and then added die cut tags to spell out my sentiment. I’m hoping this long, skinny card will be great to pair with a bag of beans for a birthday gift in the future.
