Hello there coffee loving crafters! It’s Kerry here and today it’s time for another Sunday Sip! This week, I went a bit mixed media and pulled out a favorite Stamplorations clear set to get my inky weekend going. I’ve been super busy with prepping for teaching online school and have not sat down to craft in over a week. My days and nights are blurring together, but I know that all this prep and sleepless nights will be worth it when I can welcome my little Kinder Warriors to the “classroom” this September.
I chose to start getting a piece of white (with a fun graph/grid texture) cardstock a little juicy by adding water and then applying some blue and green Tombow markers -on an acrylic block to the top of the page. I added layers upon layers of inky goodness and just let it drip along the page. I then moved on to black and white acrylic and some sparkly medium. I let it dry and moved on to adding some glossy accents along the top edge and in random drips so that I could apply some coffee grounds (superfine grind). It smells so delish. After that, I added more gloss so that I could add some holographic sequins along the top. I heat set them to flatten them out as well as shrink them a bit.
Next, to highlight the gold in the sequins, I attached some washi tape gifted from a fellow teacher and then attached a watercolored stamped image. I made sure to include the sentiment on the mug too. I love this Shery Russ coffee set called “Anywhere There’s Coffee”
Just look at that deeeelish collection of yumminess at the top of this card! I LOVE it! Smells soooooooo good too!
Thanks so much for hopping over. I hope this card inspires you to get crafty too! See you again soon!
