Happy to have Adam Karle back again! Let’s see what he’s got for you today:
Hello friends, it’s Adam here. This week I am sharing a brewtiful card to share with your favorite coffee mate. Hope you had a wonderful week and had a chance to create many beautiful cards.
Today’s card started with a simple oval die cut (Spellbinders’ Classic Oval Dies) into an A-2 layer one. (A-2 is 4 1/4x 5 ½ inch card base and a layer one is ¼ inch less on both dimensions) The sentiment and coffee cup stamps came from the Simon Says Stamp – What’s Brewing stamp set. I stamped the cup onto stripped Lawn Fawn paper and onto white card stock. I then cut the top or opening of the cup out of the white paper and colored it using Copic Markers. I then attached the cup opening onto the stripped cup.
Next I stamped two macarons from The Ton stamp set called Macarons. The cookies were a multilayered stamp and I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink. ( Antique Linen, Tea Dye and Gathered Twigs). The cookie filling was stamped using Distress Ink (Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry and Festive Berries).
I assembled the card and added a few sequins. If you follow me you will soon see I love to add sequins to cards. I hope this card inspires you and makes you want to follow me at: www.instagram.com/ark513
