Hello there coffee loving crafty peeps! It’s Kerry here and I’m back with another fun Sunday Sip! This week, I’m sharing a sweet little card featuring a hip lady with a big cuppa love! This little lady (I’m still practicing my dark skinned girls so sorry for hints of splotchiness). This is Coffee Avery and she’s from the Paper Nest Dolls line.
I started out by creating a striped background using some coffee and a paint brush. I then splattered a bit of coffee on the page before letting it dry. Next, I stamped the Avery image and colored her using a ton of Copic markers. I don’t really plan my colors, so I just grab as I go. That means, I tend to use a billion colors- and none of my images are ever the same. After After coloring her, I noticed my theme was a bit lavender so I pulled some plum cardstock out to mesh everything together. After fussy cutting Avery, I added some sparkly fingernail polish to her hair to give her the look of those little mermaid/unicorn threads in hair. I popped her up onto a white panel and then hunted for a sentiment that would work perfectly.
I decided on a sentiment from the Brutus Monroe Cozy Coffee set Next, I tied some plum twine around the panel and added a little bling. I mounted all the white panels onto plum and then mounted the whole thing onto a white card base.
So there you have it. This card smells pretty deelish if I must say so myself! Thanks for hopping over and I hope you have a fabulous week!
