Hello there Coffee Loving crafty peeps! It’s Kerry here and I’m back with another fun Sunday SIp! This week I’m playing with Deco Foil homemade plastic ribbon and a fun stamp set called Good Morning by Richard Garay Designs. I stamped and colored the gorgeous girl with the curlers in her hair and fussy cut it for the card. I set it aside and started working on the rest of the card.
I started out by creating a fun little coffee sentiment background on my green panel using the Deco Foil Adhesive Pen. I layered some Opal Deco Foil Transfer sheets over it and ran it through my laminator. Next, I used some Richard Garay Designs Tangy Apple ink to distress the edges (I used a blending brush from the dollar store). I also stamped the cup from the stamp set and then rubbed Deco Foil adhesive over that and used the same foil over it to create a fun pearly cup to match the background.
Isn’t the foiling fun?! After that, I cut a piece of a plastic treat bag so that I could get a long strip of it and then folded it over to add some confetti inside. I ran it through my sewing machine to secure the confetti. I puckered the “ribbon” along the edge of the panel using some double sided adhesive.
I mounted this panel onto some white cardsotck and then onto some gray cardstock before attaching the “ribbon”. When it was done, I mounted this panel onto a white card base and then attached the lovely lady and cup to the card.
Thanks for hopping over today! I hope you have a great week!
