Happy Monday! I hope you had a good weekend. For those dad’s out there, happy belated Father’s Day! My card today is one I sent to my Dad to celebrate the occasion. He is a pretty awesome dude, so I think it fits.
This Mug Card Die from Trinity Stamps sure does get a lot of mileage from me. I love it! Initially, I used a patterned paper, but then I decided it was too busy, so I used it with some canary colored paper for the base. I stamped the sentiment where I wanted it on the base and then I ran it through my bigshot with Trinity Starry Skies Cover Plate. Next I stamped out the images from Heffy Doodle’s Super Dudes Stamp Set. I colored them with my Copics and fussy cut them out. I used a black liner to go around the edges of the stamp.
Then I stamped out the DAD from the Trinity Totally Amazing Stamp Set, I colored it with Copics too and made them ombre. I cut them out too, but rather than try to cut out the middle of the letters, I just colored them in with a Copic, I used the black liner around the edge here too. I placed all of my images and words with adhesive and foam tape.
