It’s time for Brew & Craft Your Stash!! Challenge #51 in the 75 Creative Card Challenges Magazine by Paper Crafts 2013!! Grab your drink of choice and get ready for some great crafty ideas!!!

Challenge #51 – Create a Minimalist Card! Minimalist or Clean & Simple card, the cards in the magazine are fabulous CAS!!! CAS doesn’t mean white, 3 of the four cards use colored card stock with basic images, die cuts or embellishments to make there CAS cards!

My card today features Sponsor Dare 2B Artzy!! The stamp set is called Hug in a Mug! I started by stamping the mug and white heat embossing it on watercolor card stock. Then I used my Altenew watercolors to color the image, I didn’t have a plan, just when with a fun messy look!

While the mug was drying, I pulled out a white card base and used Taylored Expressions Masking Circle stencils. This is first time using them, and wow!! Loved it, so easy to line up my card base and ink up the circle. I used a couple Papertrey Ink inks in the circle.

Next, I used some brown watercolor to add some splatters to the card. Then I fussy cut the mug out. When the splatters were dry I stamped the sentiment and a few coffee beans in brown ink. Then I added the mug with foam tape and finally a couple orange rhinestones for sparkle!!
