Hello Monday. I am sure we are all here, wishing it was still Sunday. But… on we go, marching through and keeping things a float. I say, you deserve a nice big cold frappe (or hot coffee, or tea, whatever you prefer!).
Today’s card is very fun and very frappy. It features some Trinity Stamps, Mama Elephant and Karen Burniston
Here is how I made this card:
- I started by using the Trinity Stamps Layered Heart Stencil on white cardstock. I used Cracked Pistachio and my Blending Buddy.
- Next, I used the Nested Heart Die to add another layer of lighter green and adhered it to the other heart.
- After that I cut out the Frappe bits from the Karen Burniston Coffee Charms die set. I cut the whipped cream in white and added some Copic colors for shadows. The lid is vellum. I put it all together and added it to the card.
- Next, I stamped the Mama Elephant Little Agenda Sloths and colored them like Yetis. I used C1, C3, B01, B02, RV02. I mounted them around the coffee with foam tape.
- I used the sentiment from the Frappy Camper Stamp Set on Pink and then I die cut it using the 4 Bar Card Die and placed it on my card.
- Lastly, I added some bright pink hearts from using the Cloudy Day dies.
Those sloth’s make pretty cute yetis don’t they? My friend actually bought them for me cause she knows I love yetis and these are perfect babies!
I don’t usually make many CAS cards, but I thought this was perfect for the CAS(E) the sketch challenge, so I am entering.
Well, that is all. I hope you like this card and I think you for visiting. To all the moms out there, hope you had a great Mother’s Day!
Caffeinated Hugs and Inky Dreams! ~ Katie
