Welcome to a new Caffeine Fueled Paper Play! It’s a new month and we have a new challenge for you! Create something coffee, tea or cocoa themed using at least one Coffee Loving Cardmaker Sponsor’s coffee, tea or cocoa themed product! You can use any other products you want! There is a list of sponsors in the files section of the Coffee Loving Papercrafters Group on Facebook. This month I’m featuring Stampendous so if you use a coffee, tea or cocoa themed product from Stampendous you get an extra chance to win this month’s random prize. Here’s how I was inspired:
So… this isn’t my normal at all! Not that I don’t absolutely love the House-Mouse line from Stampendous because I do and I own a few stamps. But I rarely make such a flat card and I NEVER mask… but I did! And I didn’t hate it as much as I thought I would! I’ve had this one for quite a while and it’s called Coffee Crazy. I couldn’t find it in the Stampendous shop but you might be able to find it somewhere and if not, there are plenty of adorable House-Mouse coffee and tea related stamps!
I created some wallpaper in the background… which is where the masking came in. I used a Stampendous clear set called Mason Jar Bouquet which is also not available in the shop any more…lol… however there are also some very beautiful jar/flower sets!
I added a little dimension by coloring and cutting out an additional cup and popping it up. I don’t know if it makes that much of a difference, but it fulfilled my pop up foam tape addiction. And I thought this sentiment from Miss Ink Stamps Java Joe set was perfect for this crazy scene! I think these cuties are doing just that!
I just added a few of my favorite sequins to finish it off!
I’m playing along with a challenge over at House-Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge which is Anything Goes (with a House-Mouse Image) with an optional theme of Better Together!! I think these guys are definitely having more fun together! There are a few days left to play along with the current challenge! And if you play there and use a coffee themed House-Mouse image you can link it up over here too!
