Happy Monday friends! Still hanging in there? I sure hope so!
Although I have been sending out a lot of cards lately, I happened to send a late birthday one the other day. So, I thought it appropriate that I send something with a little spunk. I am really chastising myself here. 😉
This was fairly easy to make. I started with my Trinity Stamps A2 Foundation Circle Stencil set, my Blending Buddy and Distress inks to make the background. I overlapped the circles and added different colors. I set that aside and stamped out the unicorn from Gerda Steiner and colored her with my Copics. I wanted her to have spunk, so I made her bright to in contrast to her grumpy face. I cut her out and set her aside. Then I stamped the various accessories around the card, cupcakes, coffee (which goes with cake) and gifts! I added my sassy sentiment, then I mounted the unicorn with foam tape. I use a VersaFine Claire Ink over distress ink because it pops out better.
What do you think? Pretty fun?! I like to think it will be a good belated birthday card to get. The inside sentiment says “Did you really think I would forget?” Better late than never I say. LOL. I hope the receiver likes it.
