It’s a new month and a new Caffeine Fueled Paper Play Challenge! This month I’m featuring CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and here’s how I was inspired:
There is a new release over at CAS-ual Fridays-a bunch of new Stamp Sets and lots of this cool font and sassy sentiments!
I thought this Hot Mama stamp set would be perfect for a Coffee Card! I started by creating a hot background using some Ken Oliver Color Bursts on a panel cut from watercolor paper using the A Jillian Vance Design Stitched Dot Rectangle Background Die. I just sprinkled some of each of the powder colors onto the paper and then sprayed with some water infused with Inkon3 Liquid Pixie Dust and just let it do its thing. While it was drying I stamped the sentiment onto white cardstock with my Misti and fussy cut it out.
Next I cut the coffee cup using the Coffee Cup Fri-Dies from some Mixed Media Paper. Then I used the Paper Smooches Flourishes Stencil and added some flames to the cup using three colors of Color Fuse Ink from Rubbernecker Stamps and added a few at the bottom of the panel as well. I popped up all of my pieces onto the background and added the steam and a few sequins!
Now it’s your turn! Create something new using a Coffee, Tea or Cocoa product from any Coffee Loving Cardmakers Sponsor! You will find a list of sponsors in the files section of the Coffee Loving Papercrafters Facebook Group here! And in April, if you use a Coffee, Tea or Cocoa image from CAS-ual Fridays, you get an extra chance to win! Be sure to let us know in your post what product you used that qualifies and mention our challenge along with a link back to this post. You can play multiple times with new projects and the challenge will run through the end of this month and the prize is a small prize pack from me! I can’t wait to see what you create!
Now for last month’s winner of the adorable Hero Arts Mouse Tea Party stamp set:
Inkami! Please contact me with your snail mail address so I can mail you your prize!
Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you’ll play along with us this month!
