Welcome! Lisa here and I’m so excited to be on a Coffee Date with my friend Jean Chaney! Although we couldn’t actually BE on a coffee date this time around because we are social distancing right now, I’m sure we were both drinking coffee while creating our cards!
I’m sure many of you are familiar with Jean because she loves to make coffee cards and often participates in the Facebook group and Coffee hops and is very generous with handing out the love on others’ projects. She is a good friend of mine that my mom met online and invited to one of our crops. I loved her immediately and we’ve all been crafty buds ever since! I can’t imagine my life without her and I’m so glad we got to know each other! Meet Jean:
“I’m so pleased to be Lisa’s date as we do try to get together as often as possible to share our love for coloring (and coffee, of course!). I must admit to being an “ooh, shiny” person who is easily distracted by anything new. Right now, that includes parchment crafting and using silhouette stamps. But, that could change in an instant! I am Copic Certified but love using all kinds of coloring mediums. Making backgrounds is my favorite activity since creativity can go wild!”
We decided for today, we would both use the Stamps of Life Coffee Cup Fold It Die and any stamp set from Art Impressions (they’re having a huge sale right now)! And here’s how we were inspired:

Don’t you just love Jean’s coloring on Kraft!?
And you know I love to use non-coffee themed sets to make coffee themed cards!
