Coffee Loving Papercrafters

It’s a new month and a new challenge here at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers!  This month we’re featuring Hero Arts!  Create a new coffee, tea or cocoa themed project using ANY sponsors’ coffee, tea or cocoa themed product and link it up here for your chance to win!  In March, you get extra chances for your projects using Hero Arts’ coffee, tea or cocoa themed products!  Here’s how I was inspired:

Aren’t those little tea drinking mice soooo cute??  I’ve been wanting this Mouse Tea Party Stamp Set from Hero Arts for quite some time now and I finally got one over at Super Sponsor Butterfly Reflections Ink during a recent sale and it seems I got it just in time!  In fact… I got two!  So this will be the prize for March.  It’s hard to find these cuties any more as they are retired I do believe, but you could win one right here at the CLC!

I started with that beautiful Papel Picado Confetti Die backdrop and layered on one of the cups from the Cups And Handles Infinity Dies (you need these!)  I popped the cup up so I would have plenty of room for layering its contents!  I stamped lots and lots of images from the set onto Copic Friendly paper and cut them out with the Scan N Cut.  I love to have lots of the little extras like flowers and leaves handy so I can add however many I want… and I usually want a lot.

IDK… I’ve got a thing for mushrooms lately… and I love this one from the set!  I colored all of my images with Copics and Prismacolor pencils and used some pinks, blues and aqua because I’m playing along with the current challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations:

I knew this one would be perfect with this set!  You can play along here!

I did blend a little Spun Sugar Distress Ink onto the cup for a little bit of dimension and shape…

And so many cute sentiments on the set!  I chose this one because this is a Birthday Partea!  I’m also playing along over at A Blog Named Hero’s Birthday Challenge:
