Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Welcome back everyone! Thanks for stopping by for a little tea with me – Twiddler’s Nook – today. I’ve been a bad girl shopping lately and picked up some new toys to play with. One of my mini sprees was at Your Next Stamp a few weeks ago where I picked up this fun Hammie – Coffee and Tea set. I just want to squish these guys. They’re so cute!

Since I have issues making decisions, especially with new stamps, I used all the cute images from the set! And since it’s Valentine’s week I decided to go with a pink and red color palette for some extra fun!

I stamped, colored and die cut my images and then switched over to the ink blended panel. For that I chose worn lipstick and abandoned coral distress inks. Then I splattered it with water and a little watered down black soot distress ink as well. Once it was dry I cut it down to 5.5×2.5 and popped it on my card base with foam tape.

I popped all my Hammies up with foam tape as well and then put my card in my MISTI to stamp the sentiment. I trimmed anything hanging off the edge and set to finish the last embellishing.

I added white gel pen accents to all of the images and gave each Hammie some glossy accents to their nose. Then I took some clay hearts from a special Creativation mix made by Trinity Stamps and scattered them about. I think this gives a perfect little love theme to the pink and red colors. Don’t you?
