Hello there coffee loving friends! It’s Kerry here and I’m back with another fun Sunday Sip! Today I’m sharing a card I created with a few different favorite stamp sets in my stash. This card is for all my peeps who has had one of those kind of days…Just sayin’!
To create this card, I stamped the “middle fingers” sentiment from the Hot Coffee sentiment set by CAS-UAL Fridays using Nocturne Versafine Clair ink directly on the card base. I embossed this sentiment with clear embossing powder. Next, I stamped the “Just sayin’” sentiment from the Sugar Pea Designs set called Talk is Chic using Wendy Vecchi Red ink. After that, I flicked some black acrylic paint on the panel to bring it all together.
I diecut the scalloped frame from Lawn Fawn’s Reverse Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Windows. I decided to cut it a bit wonky because of the fun nature of the sentiments. After cutting the frame, I added a scrap of red cardstock (that I machine stitched and stapled. I also wrapped some red/white baker’s twine around that. Before mounting the frame onto the card, I added some Glitter Dust Silver sparkly photo corners by Therm-o-web.
And there you have it! A snarky little card for one of those days…I hope your days are always sunshine and rainbows but if not, these sets…and a few more cups of coffee should turn your bad day around! Thanks for stopping over to check out my card! Have a great week!
