Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hi friends!  Katie here today with a fun post from Creativation.  I have pics and will show them at a later time because I am working on the fly and haven’t uploaded them yet.  So keep your eye out in the FB page for some photos.

Today’s card is pretty fun and special to me because I made it before Creativation.  I came here with the Trinity Stamps. I had lunch one day with a few of the teamies- Lisa B., Lisa G. and Amanda W., and were also joined by Taniesa, owner of Trinity and Shanna Slater (fellow Trinity DT member).  As luck would have it, I got to meet Kim Mraz from Paper Smooches.  And that is perfect because today’s card primarily features product from Paper Smooches and Trinity Stamps.

Here is how I made this card.

• I stamped the cup from Paper Smooches Caffeinated on Copic friendly paper.  I masked off the top portion and used distress inks in the bottom portion of the card to create background colors.
• Then I colored the straw with my Copics and cut it out.
• Next, I masked and stamped the hearts on another bit of paper.  I decided to add the cute faces from Lawn Fawn’s Hap-pea set.
• Then I colored the hearts with my Copics, added some gel highlights and cut them out.
• I added a few hearts and set them aside.
• Next, I cut a 4.25 X 4.25 base.  I added this pretty DP (can’t remember who makes it).
• I pulled out this fun journal card that has been sitting around for a long time and mounted it.
• I wrapped the base with black and white twine. I mounted my cup, then I added the extra hearts.
