Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hello Everyone,

I am Zsofi and I am so happy to be back with my third coffee themed card as a guest designer on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog this month.

If you follow me, you know that I adore Lawn Fawn. Their whimsical designs cheer me up and I love how the different sets can be combined. This is what I did for today’s card too, I stamped images from the following sets: Love you a latte, Thanks a latte, Frosty fairy friends and So smooth.

Usually when I colour a scene I use a patterned paper pad as inspiration for the colour combos. This time it was Doodlebug Designs Winter Wonderland, and I chose a pretty striped paper to be the background of my scene.

I used Copic markers to add colour to the stamped images and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I arranged them on a piece of warm grey cardstock from Hero Arts which I cut down to be 3.25 inches wide.

I stamped a sentiment in black from the Love you a latte set and matted the panel with Peacock cardstock from Simon Says Stamp.

Only the finishing touches were remaining at this point: a little glossy accents on the fairies’ accessories and some clear shimmer on the snowflakes. I could not resist using a white gel pen to add some stripes to the scarf and some dots to the background.
