Happy Monday! Katie here again. Today I am changing things up and offering a card that has no stamping involved. It is pretty weird since I love to color, but… occasionally I do things different. 😉
This is how I made it- I started by die cutting most of the items from Spellbinders using colored cardstock. The leaves in Green, the flowers in gold and a buttery yellow. For that and the middle flower I added Ripe Persimmon Distress ink to make it orange around the edges. I added Trinity Stamps embellishments to the center. The cup is cut in a sheet of DP and backed with a layer in green. I cut the coffee in gold and white and the heart matches the background paper. The sentiment is from Crafter’s Companion and I backed it in green also. For the front layer, I used the distress ink again to make it ombre.
I love the pop of colors and it makes for a fun valentine (or other occasion card) for a just the right person.
Thanks for visiting today and I hope you enjoyed this card. You are always welcome to visit me on my blog. ~Inky hugs and caffeinated dreams!
