Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Happy New Year!  And welcome to an all new challenge here on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog!  This month, our featured Sponsor is Flora and Fauna!  Here’s how I was inspired:

I picked up this adorable Animal Sweaters stamp set during a recent sale!  And guess what!  I picked up two!!  So this set will be the prize for the January challenge.  I just love the critters and their little sweaters, hats and scarf… and you can just use the critters without their outfits if you choose so these cuties will definitely be used on all kinds of projects.  I am always drawn to the quirky animals on Flora & Fauna stamp sets!

This adorable little seal and alligator!!  cute with or without their winter gear… but on this card they are all on their way to an Ugly Sweater Christmas party and Mr. Alligator is giving his pal a ride.  The critters in the set are so easy to color and the accessories require no coloring… just stamp them in the colors you wish to use!

I used the dies to cut out most of the images, but there is no die in the set for the candy cane, cup, or present… but that’s ok!  I knew I’d want a few of each, so I stamped a bunch of these and used the Scan N Cut to cut them out… so nice to not have to run them through the Gemini multiple times!  Can we talk about the van??  SO cute!  I decided to add the kitty from the Animal Sweaters set behind the wheel… he’s in a hurry to get to the party… so much so that he left a bunch of stuff on top of the van!!  Hope it all gets there ok!

This cute little pug… checkout his petite sweater… he can imagine what’s about to happen unless the Mischievous Cat slows down a bit.  He just hopes the coffee makes it!  He’s decided to give Mr. Hippo a ride with his sleigh… it’s a long distance for a hippo. (And the Joy word die… SO pretty right??)

Hippo especially appreciates the ride and is carrying the pup’s coffee cup for him… isn’t his snowman sweater perfect?!?  Honesty… I’d wear any of these sweaters…lol!

And with all of those extra cups, canes and gifts I was able to stick them around everywhere and just a few Lawn Fawn snowflakes and some sequins were all I needed to finish it up.
