Happy Monday! Katie here. Can you believe the holiday’s are over? They came and went and in the blink of an eye! I have a card today that bids farewell to the season and also serves as a thank you card.
It is like the season is melting away! Goodbye, farewell, thanks for coming. But even thought this snowman is melty, he is still very cute. The image and the background die are from Super Sponsor Your Next Stamp.
I started by stamping my image on Copic Friendly paper and coloring it with my Copics (B02, B05, B06, BG10, C7, C5, C1, E25, R35, YR 16, YR07, YG11, YG23, YG25. After it was complete I cut it out using my ScanNCut. I added a few gel pen highlights and set it aside. Then I cut out the background plate using this lighter blue paper. I mounted it on my white cardstock. I cut the sentiment from a Little Yellow Bicycle die in a blue to match the scarf and hat ribbon. I added a few embellishments from Super Sponsor Trinity Stamps.
Here is a close up:
This makes for a nice thank you card that really is easy to reproduce if you wanted to make multiple.
I hope you enjoyed this post and it inspires you to make your own ode to winter cards. Thanks for visiting and feel free to visit my blog for other inspiration. Inky hugs and caffeinated dreams! ~Katie
