Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Welcome to a new Caffeine Fueled Paper Play!  Today I’m playing along with the current Mood Board Challenge over at Super Sponsor Butterfly Reflections Ink!  Over the Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend, I did a little shopping for myself at BRI and picked up a few things I’ve been wanting including the adorable Coffee Loving Critters stamp set from Super Sponsor Evelin T Designs!  Here’s the beautiful Mood Board:

And here’s how I  was inspired:

I am loving the new Slimline craze and decided I needed to use all of the caffeinated critters in this adorable set, so I pulled out the Slimline dies from Trinity Stamps along with the coordinating Slimline Scenic Border Die Set to create the background.  I used the Cloud Stencil from Rubbernecker Stamps and then layered on the Border dies using the cloudy looking border as bumpy snow and then the Tree Line Hill die from Poppy Stamps in the back all from white glitter paper, keeping my background light and bright.

My critters have gotten together to have a little Christmas party!  There is lots of caffeine fueled celebrating going on with just the right amount of sweets!  I stamped and cut my critters out with the Scan N Cut.  I colored them with Copics.  I used some images from Trinity’s Gingerbread House stamp set too because they fit perfectly!  Have I mentioned how much I love those Christmas lights??  And the stockings were just right!

And the FaLaLa die from Hello Bluebird that I got in the BRI shop was just what I needed to finish it off.  I cut it once from the green glitter paper and twice from white card stock and stacked them for dimension.  I know you want to know where the plaid paper is from… it’s hard to find.  I had it left over from a pad of My Mind’s Eye Sugar Plum papers from a couple years ago… but you might be able to find some somewhere!  Maybe in your own stash!  It really was one of my favorite Christmas paper pads ever.

I finished it off with some white Snowflake embellishments from Trinity and little clear ones I picked up at my Local Papercrafting Store.
