Hello there coffee loving peeps! It’s Kerry here and I’m back with another fun Sunday Sip! This week I was feeling a bit BRRRR…I’m longing for snow and HOT CHOCOLATE! Sooo…I decided to create a card with a hodge-podge of goodies from my stash. I hadn’t used the Paper Nest Dolls image yet (I got her at the Scrapbook Expo in June) and I thought it was high time I used it! I stamped her on some cheap old white cardstock and boy do I regret that! I ran out of my Copic friendly cardstock and yikes…Nothing beats good paper. Although I colored the image on icky paper, I think it turned out good enough for a forgiving friend.
I paired the Paper Nest Dolls image Hot Chocolate Avery with some yummy retired My Minds Eye Printed paper from the Lost and Found 2 BLUSH collection. I also used the Reverse Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Windows die from Lawn Fawn and the sentiment comes from Elizabeth Craft Designs and it’s called Cute Winter Sentiments.
To finish the card off, I added some aqua ribbon and some sparkly glitter on her mittens, earmuffs, hair bow and the tiny heart on her cocoa mug. YUM! This card turned out to be such a girly card, dontcha think?!
Thanks for hopping over to check out today’s Sunday sip. I hope you were inspired by it and were convinced to NEVER USE CHEAP PRINTER PAPER WHEN COLORING WITH COPICS. ha ha ha.
