Coffee Loving Papercrafters

We’re so excited to have Vanessa Buzard guesting with us for the next 2 weeks!

Hello everyone!  I am Vanessa and I am a married SAHM mom to one teenage boy and one 3 1/2 year old boxer dog fur son.  I live inland in beautiful, sunny San Diego, California.

I reluctantly (wasn’t sure what art rubber stamps were and why you’d use them. lol) started making cards back in 1997 when xacto knives, scissors, deco scissors and punches were the tools you use. I love how the industry has evolved! After exchanging a few cards with a group, I was hooked! I did scrapbooking for a while after the birth of my son; however, I am a scrapbooking drop out (sorry kid! lol).

If I’m not making cards, you will find me out walking, running, hiking or just sitting out in the sunshine (with coffee, of course). Although I only have my phone camera these days, I also enjoy taking nature photos whether that be a pretty flower or a creepy spider, I appreciate it all.

I’m so excited about being a guest here on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog!  It’s December, so I can officially get into Christmas mode. I have a coffee theme Christmas card to share with you today.

I combined two different flip-it’s (shaped) cards from The Stamps of Life to create this card. On their own, they are A2 sized cards, but together they fit perfectly in a 5 3/4 x 8 3/4 envelope: The flower pot fold it and The mug fold it. The flower pot fold it comes with flower dies, but I also used flower2build two/three dies, pinecones2stampdies, a snowflake from the snowflake background die, steam from hotchocolatedies, Christmasgreetings2stamp stamps, and joy is from a die set called Inspirational words by The Stamps of Life and available only at HSN.
