I’m sharing a fresh and new creation featuring the PERK UP stamp and die combo. My card is a bit of a mixed media creation with the use of ivory acrylic paint, Walnut Stain Distress Oxide, Black acrylic paint spatters, golden paste and coffee grounds…YES…Aromatherapy! WOOO!
Check out the yummy Coffee-licious sets we’re workin’ with!
I used ivory acrylic paint and Distress Oxide on my Gelli Plate then blended it together to create a brown coffee-ish color. I transferred that to a piece of white cardstock then splattered a bit of water onto the page to activate the oxide ink. I then rubbed some gold shimmer paste on the edges and sprinkled a bit of coffee grounds on. Next, I added some splatters of black acrylic paint. To finish off the background, I stamped the coffee cup onto the panel using OVER COFFEE ink from Catherine Pooler.
After finishing up the background, I attached a piece of teal ribbon around the panel. I then stamped the sentiment onto a kraft panel and glued it to my inky background. Next, I attached some polka-dot sheer ribbon and added the square piece to highlight the cup and the coffee pot. The pot and cup were colored with Copics.
So there you have it. Another aroma-rific creation featuring this fun PERK UP Set!
Thanks for hopping over and checking out my creation. Hope to see you again next week!
