Monday again! I would love for it to still be the weekend, alas, it isn’t. But don’t worry, I know just how to deal with it… coffee, stamping and glitter!
I just love this little owl from Picket Fence Studios. It is the first time I have inked it up. Sometimes I forget I have the little stamps, they get shoved to the side, so I was happy to see it.
Here is how I made it:
- I started by stamping and coloring my image with my Copics. I chose these fun fall colors. I fussy cut her out, then I set her aside. Then I stamped it again so I could have the cup seperate. I colored that and cut it out. I mounted the cup with foam tape on the scene.
- Next, I die cut the scalloped rectangle from Gina Marie. On that, I used a stencil and scattered straw ink to add splatters to it. I put glitter on all the splotches, but I did that after I stamped the owl and sentiment from The Rabbit Hole Designs in black.
- To my colored owl, I added glitter to her pearls. Then I mounted it on the background image with more foam tape.
- Next, I cut this DP to 4 X 5.25 and I mounted the scalloped rectangle on top of the DP. I mounted all of that on the base.
- Lastly, I added this felt flower from freckled fawn and I put a yellow enamel dot on top of that.
I appreciate you visiting as always! I hope this cuteness and funny sentiment helps you put a little pep in your step on this Monday! For a full list of supplies, feel free to head on over to my blog.
Until next time, caffeinated hugs and inky dreams! ~Katie
