Hello Coffee Lovers!!
It’s time for Brew & Craft Your Stash!! Challenge #30 in the 75 Creative Card Challenges Magazine by Paper Crafts 2013!! Grab your drink of choice and get ready for some great crafty ideas!!!
Challenge #30 – Use 10 Different Patterned Papers. The designs used 10 different patterned papers in some great ways, its not easy, I know!!! One used small different patterned squares, another used a ticket die cut to cut the patterns. A card used different punch borders and pattern papers to fill a card base. The last card created a faux quilt out of hexagons.
For my card I started with a Crafter’s Companion Torn Panel die and Photo Play Paper Like A Girl collection. I cut the die several times with different patterns from the collection. Next, I adhered the main die cut to a white card base, then filled in the torn stripes with the different patterns.
This used up most of the 10 patterns I needed. To finish I used stitched rectangle dies to cut the last patterns, then adhering the two layers together.
Then I used Hero Arts Food Puns and stamped the latte and sentiment. I stamped the latte again with red ink, then fussy cut the heart circle and the black and white latte. With foam tape I added the circle to the latte.
I trimmed the sentiment and then notched the ends, then I added it and the latte to the rectangles with foam tape. Then I added the rectangles to the card.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope this inspires you to break out your pattern paper (I know you have plenty!!!)
