One in a Chameleon

Happy Monday!  It is Labor Day here is the USA, and I am happy to have the day off.  In fact, I am thankful, and that is why I am sharing a thank you card today.

I don’t often just work with one color, but I did for this card and it was fun.  Here is how I made it:

  • I started by stamping out the Your Next Stamp chameleon on and sentiment on white.
  • I used my ScanNCut to cut out the image and then colored it using my Copics (G00 and G02). I cut the sentiment into a rectangle and set both aside.
  • Next, I die cut this cup from a Stampin Up! die in this matching green paper from Doodlebug Designs Inc.  I also cut out the steam from the same die set in vellum and used Cracked Pistachio distress ink.
  • I die cut the Thanks from MFT in both black and vellum and joined them together.
  • Next, I assembled everything on a bit of white paper 4 X 5.25.  I mounted that on the white card base.
  • Lastly, I added these green stars from Trinity Stamps Rainbow Sherbert Stars.

Well, it feels good to be back with you all.  I hope you enjoyed this card. You are always welcome to visit me on my blog here.

Until next time, caffeinated hugs and inky dreams!

Sooo adorable is that chameleon and a super cute design. Love the polka dot paper used for the cup.
