Hello there coffee loving crafters! It’s Kerry here and I’m back with another fun Sunday Sip! This week, I just sat down and started creating some stripes…That was the plan. Black and white…Sooo…I used some washi tape and attached it here and there on my white cardstock then added some black paint. After a few goes with the brush, I lifted the washi tape and reapplied it a bit to make some more lines. As I pulled up the washi, I created some rough-distressed areas…I kind-of liked it. Then I flicked some black paint on before hunting for a perfect stamp set. I wanted something that was pretty graphic with bold lines. I found it in the Honey Bee Stamps set called Tea Time.
After stamping the cup, I colored it in bold yellow and added some polka-dots. I think polka-dots are happy. Next, I stamped the sentiment (from the Perfect Blend stamp set) onto the background. I attached my background to some yellow cardstock and then mounted it onto a white card base.
To finish off my card, I added the fussy cut cup, some polka-dot sheer ribbon and a little black twine bow. Now I have a perfectly sweet note card to send off to someone special.
Thanks for hopping over to see today’s card! I’m already working on next week’s share! WOOP!
