Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hello there crafty friends! As you may know, we’ve started a new feature here at Coffee Loving Card Makers called Design Team Close Up. We’ve had such an awesome increase in caffeinated friends, that we thought it would be nice to do some intro’s to the team – and today is my turn.

My name is Lori Turner and I live on a farm in central Alberta, CANADA. I am married with 2 adult children – Calvin and Kimberly and currently one fur baby – “Toots the Cat.” I am a bookkepper full time and am married to a crop sprayer/farmer/trucker, love coffee (obviously LOL), crocheting, walking/running, spending time with friends and family and to get away to the mountains whenever the opportunity arises…

My paper crafting love came from scrap booking originally and then I hosted my first Stampin’ Up! class and I was HOOKED! I became a Demo right away and fell in love with the instant gratification of card making. I was a Demo for over 12 years, was on a few amazing design teams, had stamping clubs, taught classes, held Stamp-a-Stacks, etc. and the rest is history. I still love to make cards – using Copics and dies are my favorite tools now. I am no longer a Demonstrator for Stampin’ Up! and have a very wide-spread collection of goodies from many companies here in my craft room!

I don’t get as much time in my crafty space as I used to, as I am now back to work full-time, and my husband and I own a crop spraying business and farm, so life is a little busy, but it’s still one of my favorite places to be. Especially with my new companion – Toots:
