Hello Coffee Lovers!!
It’s time for Brew & Craft Your Stash!! Challenge #23 in the 75 Creative Card Challenges Magazine by Paper Crafts 2013!! Grab your drink of choice and get ready for some great crafty ideas!!!
Challenge #23 – Make an Itty Bitty Card. The magazine features four tiny cards, two are rectangles, one is a very small rectangle and one is an tiny elephant shaped card! So fun!!
For the challenge, I decided to use Lawn Fawns Shadow Box Card die. I have had this die for a long time and finally getting around to use it! The card is roughly 3 inches by 2 inches and I think qualifies as an itty bitty card! I used the die with some aqua card stock. For the inside layers I used white card stock.
Next, I pulled out Hero Arts Mouse Tea Party stamp set, stamping several of the images. I used my Spectrum Noir Colored Pencils to color the images, then fussy cut them out.
I added the images to the shadow box. To get the butterflies up high and look like they are flying added a small strip of clear acetate to the butterflies and then attached them to the different ground layers. I did the same thing with the sentiment flag.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope this inspires you to make some itty bitty cards and/or use those dies that you haven’t used yet!
