I’m so excited to announce some happy changes. Did you catch my earlier changes posts HERE and HERE? Today we’re announcing some additions to the team, first up is Annette Allen:
Hi my name is Annette Allen and my blog is My Clever Creations. I am so excited to be designing for Coffee Loving Cardmakers. I have been crafting since 1997, which seems so long ago now. I was introduced into the craft world when my husband was deployed and I was invited to a Stampin’ Up party. I have not looked back since. I dabble a little in almost everything, but my true love is card making. I am just a crafter at heart. I am a stay at home wife and have been married for 24 years. Life is good. Thank you for having me and I can’t wait to share my creations with you all.

Hi, my name is Lisa and I live in sunny South Florida and I am known as “mom” to three wonderful children, three fur babies and a bearded dragon named Queen. I am also a Registered Nurse in a NICU where I take care of the most precious babies on Earth. Since I work night shift, coffee and I have become very good friends! I have been a paper crafter for over ten years and I enjoy all types of DIY projects. I used to design custom invitations and announcements which led to scrapbooking which ultimately led to card making. My favorite of all is card making and I spend most of my very little spare time creating my “OhSoCute” projects. I am very excited to be designing for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers!

Our June Guest Designer is Beatrix Révhely:
My name is Beatrix Révhely, I’m from Hungary and I live in a small city near the capital. I’ve been crafting since my childhood but started to create cards specifically about 2 years ago. I’m addicted to Coffee so it didn’t take long to find the Coffee Loving Carmakers blog and community. Since then I’ve been participating in Blog Hops and shared Coffee or hot drink themed cards and tags in the Facebook group, hoping that my work would inspire others to create. I randomly mailed my cards to commenters, because I love to surprise people and to spread the love!
Amy asked me to pick one of my favorite cards I’ve created for the Spring |Summer Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop 2019. It was really hard to choose, but I think the “Love You Lots” Lawn Fawn card is my favorite.
The idea was simple: bring as much Spring on a Coffee card as I can with lovely flowers.
I used the “thanks a latte” stamp and die set to create the coffee mugs. My favorite flowers are on the “fairy friends” stamp set, so I picked all of those, stamped and die-cut them and brought them to life with pastel colors. Since I wanted to give a bright and cheery feeling to the card, I put little faces on all of the flowers, not just the mugs. Because they are really tiny, I used the faces of “be hap-pea” stamp set for this. I also cut a lots of little hearts with the tiny die of “hedgehugs” set.
The base of the card was created with kraft carton and Lawn Fawn “spring fling” petite paper set, and I’ve used the scalloped rectangle frame. When all of the elements were ready, I’ve put the whole thing together, layering with 3D foam squares the funny flowers and the mugs. The last step was to spread the little hearts and create the heat embossed title on a “fancy wavy banner”.
When everything was set I highlighted the whipped cream, mugs and petals with shine and dots, then put dozens of little dots with white enamel accents on the card. I hope You also like my card and that it inspires You to create!
