Hello Coffee Lovers!!
It’s time for Brew & Craft Your Stash!! Challenge #22 in the 75 Creative Card Challenges Magazine by Paper Crafts 2013!! Grab your drink of choice and get ready for some great crafty ideas!!!
Challenge #22 – Make a Triangle or Circle Card. The magazine features two triangle cards that you can see in the photo. What you can’t see are two circle cards! Shaped cards are easy to make! Die cut shape two times. Score at the top of the shape about 1/4 inches from the top. Adhere to the other die cut shape. I used adhesive clue and used tiny cloths pins to hold it together while they dried. Then just decorate the card with the full shape!
You also, might have noticed that I skipped Challenge 21. It was Write a Haiku. First of all I had to google it! It’s basically a poem, I hate creative writing so I decided to skip it and move on to challenge 22!
For the challenge I made a circle card just as I described above. I used the biggest Spellbinders circle die I had and the card measures a little under 4 inches x 4 inches. I used the same circle die to cut a pattern paper circle from Photo Play Paper, For the Love of Summer Collection.
Next, I used The Rabbit Hole Designs, Caffeinated: Dino Stamps set. I colored him up with my Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers. Then I fussy cut him out with some sharp scissors.
I added the paper to the card, then added the dino and a cactus sticker from the collection with foam tape. For even more dimension I added the sentiment on top with more foam tape. Last I added a few matching gems!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope this encourages you to make a triangle or circle shaped card!!
