Sunday Sip…A sip of JOY!

Disclaimer:  This card was NOT intended to be a Christmas in May card.  Please do not leave…

Hey there coffee-loving crafty friends!  It’s Kerry here and I’m back with another fun Sunday Sip!  Please don’t leave!  I didn’t mean to make it happen!  It just happened!  Why do the colors red and green do this?

No, I didn’t intend on making a “Christmas” card but as I was in the midst of designing this card, all I could think of is…Oh no…This is looking a lot like Christmas!  I just threw up my hands and said oh well, that’s the way the Jingle Bells Jingle in May, right?

It all started out with me pulling out the plaid paper.  I thought, hey, this looks like a picnic!  Let me just add a little grassy color and this Cozy Coffee set from Brutus Monroe and whip up something fabulous…Yeah, that’s what happened…

So then, I figured I’d try to make it a little “cute” by adding the Outside Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Dies from Lawn Fawn.  That would make it less “Christmassy”, right?  NOPE!  Then I tried some ribbon…That didn’t work so I figured, Let’s just go all-out Christmas and add a few jingle bells while I’m at it!  Yeah, that really happened.

Are you laughing yet?  Well, by this time I was practically rolling on the floor.  I tried, I really did!

I guess I should start my 2019 Christmas Card box…Into the box you go!  Thanks for hopping over…and reading through this funny adventure.  Hope you have a nice, warm and summery week!  😉

I love that it came together this way. It’s a familiar story. It also makes me want to go make a green and red gingham picnic card, just to see if I can.
