Coffee Loving Papercrafters

We wanted to share more information about the awesome Shanna Slater, the designer behind our newest hop graphic.  I love it, don’t you?

Hello fellow coffee and tea loving crafty friends!  My name is Shanna and I am so excited to be a guest here today!  A little more about me….I am a full-time nurse who has been happily married to the most amazing husband for the last 16+ years (17 years in May!) .  Together we share the joys of raising three kiddos ages 7, 9, and 17.  We all live in a small town in Northern California and love it.  In my free time (insert *laugh* here)  I enjoy crafting, gardening, and reading.

My love of crafting has been strong my entire life…I remember sewing with my grandma and drawing my “patterns” for her to help me with when I was 4 – 5 years old, and it never stopped.  I still enjoy sewing and quilting, but paper crafts are my passion.  I am an avid scrapbooker, but love card making as well.  The 2 naturally pair because I can always use my scrapbook layout scraps on cards!

My crafting style is all over the place, ranging from CAS to layered and distressed!  I love it all!!

My very first CLC hop I think was maybe 2 years ago….I found my people you might say!  I love it here, the people are always kind and uplifting. I even named my blog Caffeinated Craftiness, because me and coffee are a match made in heaven.  I am totally excited for the upcoming Spring/Summer hop and my brain is running overtime with all the things!

I have enjoyed being on different design teams, either full time or as a guest designer….There are so many people that inspire me on the daily. The crafting community as a whole is just fabulous for me.  This particular group is the cherry on top though!
