I’m ready for my Close Up Mr. Demille! Hey there! Lisa here and with all of the new members in the Coffee Loving Group, we decided it was time to re-introduce ourselves to everyone and it’s my turn today. I have to admit… I’m a little nervous! But here goes:
That’s me and my fur baby Jack and I’ll start with… it’s pronounced Bib-zee-ack – not that I care even in person when someone gets it wrong. I’m SO used to it…but if you were wondering. And Reynolds is my maiden name and I only use it on Facebook.
I’m married and we have two fur babies and two grown children.. both boys… and my youngest is 25.. soon… and my oldest will be 30 in a few months! My papercrafty life started with scrapbooking around 25 years ago. When I was introduced to cardmaking and realized I already had everything I needed I was hooked! Especially since scrapbooking pics of two boys for 10 years… sigh… I was yearning to be able to use pretty colors and flowers and all of those girly things and cardmaking gave me that outlet. I’m always learning from every single crafter I “meet” and there is a piece of every one of you in my creations somewhere.
I stumbled upon the Coffee Loving Papercrafters through a Paper Sweeties blog post I think… and when I did my whole crafty life changed and I haven’t looked back! At the time I was a Close to My Heart representative and had no idea about all of the other wonderful companies out there! I created the #amymademebuyit because literally almost everything I’ve bought since I can blame on her! And I use the term “blame” quite loosely because I am so thankful for each awesome stamp set and die I’ve collected, for all of the friendships I’ve made and the way my crafty world has grown because of this wonderful coffee loving group. I love you guys!!
I didn’t have time (it’s tax season!) to make something new, but here are a few of my favorite coffee loving projects from over the last couple of years:
I love deep bright colors and I love to make cards that are different and unexpected. My very favorite is to use non-coffee sets to create coffee cards. You’ll find that many of my cards don’t have the word coffee on them anywhere.. but then quite a few do too…lol!
So I thought I’d have some fun with you today! We’re gonna play a game of Two Truths and a Lie. I’m going to tell you three things about myself and you have to guess which one is a lie! Comment here which one you think I made up by Sunday, April 14th and I’ll pick a random name from those who guessed correctly! I’ll announce the winner in my post for Wednesday, April 17th (and inside info I’m gonna have another little giveaway on that day too so be sure to come back!). So here we go:
- My very favorite coffee is Tim Hortons French Vanilla Cappuccino-Large please!
- I have a large tattoo that covers about a quarter of my back!
- I drink home brewed Iced Tea every day… Black Mango is my fave!
