Hello Coffee Lovers!!
It’s time for a new Brew & Craft Your Stash!! Challenge #17 in the 75 Creative Card Challenges Magazine by Paper Crafts 2013!! Grab your drink of choice and get ready for some great crafty ideas!!!
Challenge #17 – Use Leftover Alpha and Number Stickers. Two cards use alpha stickers as backgrounds, on with a multi-color collage feel to it, the other all one color and uniform. One card used yellow and blue letters to fill clouds and a sun, what a great idea!! The last card used alpha stickers to build a little boat, yes a boat!!!
So I don’t really have left over alpha stickers, because I don’t really use them to begin with and don’t have very many anyway! I have about 5 sheets of small alphas and two packages of thicker and bigger alphas. I decided to use Basic Grey Aurora die cut letter stickers to spell out coffee!
I paired the alpha stickers with Art Impressions Girlfriend Blend. First, stamping it on white card stock and then a few more times on pattern paper. Then I fussy cut out the ladies different outfits from different pattern papers. Before I adhered the pieces I used my Spectrum Noir and Copic markers to color the skin, hair, jewelry and coffee cups.
Next, I added a pretty pattern paper to a card base. I added a strip of strip of white along the bottom and then added the ladies with foam tape. With the alpha stickers I spelled out coffee and arched it over the ladies! Last, I rounded the corners of the card.
Thanks for stopping by!! I hope this encourages you to use your alpha stickers, even if you don’t have many!!
Dana
