March Guest Designer Meghan Kennihan is back with us again, wrapping up her time with us. Please make you sure you stay for the entire post, we do a look back to her first project too.
Hi Crafty COFFEE-LOVING Friends,
It’s me again, so excited to be Guest Designing for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog! If you missed my first post (filled with rainbows and coffee), check it out here. For this post I decided to make an interactive card! Who wouldn’t love a coffee shaker with a cute dinosaur?
Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: If you could only have ONE Brand and Roast of coffee for the rest of your life what would it be?
A: Me? Organic Sumatra From Trader Joe’s Dark Roast

I started by making the shaker. I die cut the coffee mug out of the brown paper for the top and the coffee bean paper for the base. I handcut the center of the mug out and put acetate on the back to make then “window”. I added the sequins and used foam tape to mount it on the coffee bean paper. Shaker mug complete!

I used some other fun papers from the Your Next Stamp Coffee Paper Pack to create the rest of the design. I used stitched square dies to make the mug stand out from the brown coffee bean background paper. Then I finished the card off with the sentiments cut in banner dies with distressed ink edging and popping the dinosaur up with some foam tape.

Thank you so much for stopping by and for having me as a guest on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog. I hope I gave you a little caffeinated inspiration and that you have a RAWR-some day. Please visit my other blog posts and Instagram here and you can answer my “Make Crafty Friends Q & A” on all my posts so we can get to know each other.
