Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hi all, we’re starting a new feature to spotlight the design team over the next couple of months.  We’ve had an increase in the amount of caffeinated friends that have joined the Coffee Loving Papercrafters Facebook Group so we thought it was a good time to do some new intros.


Hello, I am Katie and today is my DT close up!

I have been crafting for as long as I can remember.  I started when I was young as both my parents dabble in different types of art.  My mom is a big quilter (I can’t sew to save my life so that apple fell far) and embroidery, we have both recently ventured into rock painting with my daughter (she and I pictured above).  My father does a lot of photography but also draws, has dabbled in musical instruments and more.  I have done painting, drawing, beading, knitting and many others.

About 15 years I was introduced to Stampin’ Up! and became a demonstrator.  I loved it.  I dabbled in scrap-booking but a card allowed me a little more instant gratification.   Of the cardmaking process, the coloring is my fave bit! I am not all up on the latest trends and products all the time because I am busy managing my full time job, family and autoimmune disease.  It keeps me hopping.  But I love to create cards and share them with friends.

I thought it would be fun to share this collage of one of my recent faves and one featuring each season last year.  On the top is my recent fave (The Greeting Farm), top left we have spring (Studio Katia),  lower left is summer (Fun Stampers Journey), top right is fall (Trinity Stamps and Your Next Stamp) and lower right is winter (The Greeting Farm and Hello Bluebird).
