Brew & Craft Your Stash – Make a Border From Circle Punches

Hello Coffee Lovers!!

It’s time for a new Brew & Craft Your Stash!! Challenge #16 in the 75 Creative Card Challenges Magazine by Paper Crafts 2013!! Grab your drink of choice and get ready for some great crafty ideas!!!

Challenge #16 – Make a Border From Circle Punch. One card created a border with circles all the way around a card. Another created a graphic layered border, while another card cut the circles and used each half to create a border on each side of a sentiment. The last card created cute little watermelons!

I have a couple different sizes of circle punches and I pulled them out and cut a bunch from colorful cards stock. Playing with the circles I created three borders, layering the different sized circles.

Next, I stamped Newton’s Nook Cuppa Cactus stamp on a die cut rectangle. Below the image I stamped the sentiment, Coffee Makes Your Sharper! Then I used my Distress Markers to color the image. I now realized I used the wrong marker in my product photo!

I had some paper fringe left over from a previous project and I added it to the bottom of the rectangle. Last I added the image panel to the card with foam tape and rounded the corners.

Thanks so much for stopping by!! If you have circle punches, break those babies out and use them!! LOL!!

Dana

I definitely will break my babies out today and do a circle background. In the years I’ve been crafting I’ve never thought to do this, lol!

Your card is amazing from those circles to the COLORS! Love!
