Monday is here again. I have to admit that dread Mondays, but being here on the CLC blog makes it brighter. 🙂 So let’s get to it shall we?!
Here is my card for today. Isn’t she absolutely darling?! This sweetie pie is from The Greeting Farm- called Brew it Anya, and she was the inspiration for this card.
Anya is stamped with archival ink on watercolor paper and colored using my Zigs. I am happy with how she turned out, love the bright colors and the variation in the hair. I came back in with my black pen and darkened the eyes and they really pop. I fussy cut her out and set her aside. Here is a close up of her hair.
I used the bright colors on her clothes, I wanted to pull those out in the backdrop too, so I started with this Doodlebug Designs paper and cut it using my Avery Elle Wonky Stitches Die. I Then I used this turquoise paper from SU! and die cut the bottom edge with a Crafter’s Companion die. I stamped the sentiment on from Neat and Tangled Big Bold Brew. I adhered the strip using glue and secured it down with this black polka washi. I popped up my girlie and then added a few hearts to the backdrop (also from Big Bold Brew) and lastly I mounted it on this black cardstock.
I hope you enjoyed this post and enjoy your day! Thanks for the visit. ~ Katie
