Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hello there Coffee, tea, cocoa loving friends!  It’s Kerry here and I’m back with another fun Sunday Sip!  Today, I’ve created a pretty little digi card featuring some of the newest images from Super Sponsor Graciellie Designs.  I’m loving one of her newest paper collections called Sweet Love and her new cocoa loving set called Coffee or Cocoa.  I decided to spiff up the cups of cocoa on this chilly blast of winter we’re having.  It’s so nice to come in out of the cold and come into the kitchen to whip up a hot cup of warm and toasty hot cocoa.

This card was created totally in digital format by laying out the background (and tweaking the color to a light lavender instead of pink) then overlaying the cococa cups along the edge.  I then printed this image on printer paper…yes, printer paper and colored the cocoa with some Copic markers.  After coloring, I mounted this panel onto white cardstock, folded the striped background edge over and machine stitched the edge together.  After that, I mounted this panel onto a Kraft card base.

To finish off my card, I attached some silver pearls and some yummy dark brown cocoa satin ribbon.  

I suppose you could say I might* have made this card just so I could set up this dee-lish vignette for the photo op.  Hee hee…Well, maybe so, but after the shots, I was left with a mighty tasty treat!  😉
