Brew & Craft Your Stash – Stamp on Transparency

Hello Coffee Lovers!!

It’s time for a new Brew & Craft Your Stash!! Challenge #13 in the 75 Creative Card Challenges Magazine by Paper Crafts 2013!! Grab your drink of choice and get ready for some great crafty ideas!!!

Challenge #13 – Stamp on Transparency. All four cards in the magazine heat emboss the images or backgrounds. That’s the easiest way to stamp on transparencies, another way is to use Staz On ink, but you have to be careful not to move the stamp and smear the ink.

For my card I pulled out The Ink Road Stamp Mug Life stamp set and a small panel of acetate. Crafter’s Companions Heat Resistance Acetate works very good with heat embossing! I used some gold Wow Embossing powder to create a row of coffee cups.

Next, I trimmed off a portion of the front flap of a white card base. Then I adhered the acetate. To hide the adhesive I added some older Fancy Pants pattern paper. I also have a matching embellishment pack and used a couple buttons.

For the sentiment I stamped it on blue paper from the pad, then I cut out each word. I added them to the card with foam tape.

Thanks so much for stopping by!! I hope this encourages you to give stamping on acetate a try!!

Dana
