Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hey there coffee loving crafters!  It’s Kerry here and I’m back with another fun Sunday Sip.  I hope you’ve been enjoying the projects shared featuring the newest caffeinated critters in the inky world!  While today is the second day of the blog hop, I thought I’d still pop in and share another creation…and make a coordinating sketch!  I just can’t get enough of these critters!  I’ve already placed my order and got notification that it has shipped.  HOLY SMOKES!  Lightning fast!

Today, I created a more masculine card.  I wanted to focus on that coffee molecule image and use the Caffeinated Dino as a little snarky addition, so I stamped the molecule image with Versafine Onyx and embossed with Black EP.  I then rubbed a few shades of Pan Pastel over the image to darken the page up a bit.  I splattered some ink onto the panel too.  Next, I attached this panel to a piece of plaid paper from a (holiday) paper pack.  I hardly ever use printed paper and I recently bought a few 6×6 packs so I figured I’d better use some.  I mounted this panel onto a rusty colored cardstock and then added some ribbon.  

After assembling the card panel, I stamped the dino onto a piece of lime-ish green cardstock.  I colored it with Copics and then rubbed the Pan Pastel around the edges.

Pretty yummy, I’d say!
