Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Welcome to a new Caffeine Fueled Paper Play!  Today I’m playing along with the current Stock Your Stash Challenge over at Reverse Confetti:

And here’s how I was inspired:

I started by cutting my snow mounds from some glitter paper and placing them on a white card base to figure out where my fire would be.  Then I blended some yellows and orangey Distress Inks behind that area to create a glow.  Next I blended the blue and purple around the rest of that layer.  Finally to finish the background, I placed a piece of cardstock over the yellow area and splattered some Prima Metallic Accents Watercolor in white to create some snowflakes falling.

I adore these cutie pie penguins from the S’More Love stamp set!  I stamped colored and cut them out along with their hats and that fire.  Then I did the same with a few of the hearts from that set and the coffee cups from the Coffee and You stamp set and layered all of my snow and images using various thicknesses of foam tape.

I built my sentiment using a couple different sentiments from the S’more Love set … stamped them in Versamark on some dark purple cardstock and heat embossed with Wow Bright White Opaque embossing powder.  I cut them out like labels and popped them up on the card.
