Coffee Loving Papercrafters

We’re so excited to introduce one of our January Guest Designers, Cristena Bagne!

I am a self-taught crafter. I have been in the crafting world for at least 23 years. I started out thinking I was going to a postal stamp party, didn’t want to but it was a work thing. I ended up falling in love once I found out it was a rubber stamping party for Stampin’ Up! I turned into a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator when my son was born 12 years ago. However, I found more and more of the crafting world to be wondrous!

Since then, I have been on several different design teams and found that I like all kind of varieties of stamps. I love using my Copic markers to color, and am hopelessly addicted to them.

I like to use my cards to send to friends, family and the wonderful people in my chemo angels’ program I volunteer for.

While I am not coloring or stamping, I am homeschooling my 2 children, enjoying my 4 Yorkies, reading, or exploring East Coast with my kids.

Today will be the first of the cards that I get to show you for Coffee Loving Cardmakers. I decided to go with a very cute stamp from the Coffee Lovers Set from Drawn by Krista. I love these little coffee cups and all their little expressions.

I only used one of the stamps out of the set.. but I just love this little cup. I love all the different ways that you can color this cup.

All of the brown that you see on the blue squares behind the cute little latte cup are from another stamp set. I used Splatter Stains from Rubbernecker Stamps. I also used Rubbernecker Nested Circle w/Small Stitch and the Nested Square w/Small Stitch die cuts.

I love all the shapes, sizes and different textures the die cuts bring to the card along with the fantastic artwork of the stamp. Did you know that Krista from Drawn by Krista used to draw for Disney?? Talk about amazing!

I finished the card off with a bit of lace I got from Hobby Lobby and some very pretty bling!
