Caffeine Fueled Paper Play – Wow Embossing Powder!

Welcome to a special Coffee Lovers Blog Hop edition of Caffeine Fueled Paper Play!  It’s special ’cause…well… it’s during the hop!  Today I’m playing along with the December challenge over over at the Wow Embossing Powder Fans Facebook Group which is Gold & Silver!  You can find this group here on Facebook and you’ll need to request to join to play along!  Here’s how I was inspired:

I started with that awesome Papel Picado Confetti die from Hero Arts. (#amymademebuyit)  I attached it to my base and then stamped the coffee ring from  A Jillian Vance Design’s But First Coffee Stamp set with Versamark Ink and heat embossed it using Wow Gold Glitter Embossing Powder.

I’ve had this Coffee Tags stamp set from Hero Arts for a long time now.  In fact, I was so surprised… but I guess not really… that it’s still available as a current item!  I mean it is pretty awesome!  And I thought it was time to take it out.  I was inspired by my teamie Robyn’s hop card where she heat embossed a Unity cup stamp she had and thought I’d give it a go on this one.  I stamped the cup first, using my Misti, with some awesome Gina K Red Velvet Ink because I wanted it to be a deep red and this stuff fits the bill!  Then I kept everything set up on the Misti and stamped over it with Versamark.  I added some Vintage Candy Cane embossing powder and heated it up… it’s also pretty awesome stuff!

I used the Flag Banner Dies from Craftin Desert Divas and Wow Gold Glitter powder again for the sentiment.  Then I cut some holly leaves from gold foiled cardstock using one of the dies from CDD’s Winter Wonderland dies and added some gems for berries along with a few gold gems scattered around!

That’s it for me!  Hope you’ll check out the Wow Embossing Powder Fan Group on Facebook and join the challenge!  And there is a challenge for Hero Arts fans over on the Blog Named Hero!  Their theme for the next few days is Grateful and if you play your cards right you can play along with both!  (Not to mention the Coffee Lovers Hop if you add coffee, tea or cocoa to your gold and/or silver embossed thankful fall/winter themed work of art!)  I know you can do it!

Thanks for stopping by and all of your lovely visits here and over at my place during the hop!  I truly do appreciate it and am trying to make it around to everyone again!  Cups up and Merry Merry!
