We have November Guest Designer Laura Jata wrapping up her month with us today! We’re doing a look back at all of her gorgeous projects at the end of her post.
Greetings, crafty friends! I cannot believe November is nearly over and this is my last blog post as one of the guest designers for Coffee Loving Cardmakers. I had so much fun creating and challenging myself to try and step out of the box….
And taking about boxes… I have a fabulous winter project to share with you today. I have made a coffee themed shadow box.

To start, I covered the box with gesso, and used various die cuts to create my winter wonderland scene. For the background and landscape, I used dies by Lawn Fawn and Paper Roses. I also added some snowflake paste by Prima for additional interest.

The main coffee cup die cut image is from Penny Black and the set is called ‘What’s in your Cup?’. It is absolutely adorable, and I can not wait to make many more projects using this. The front of the shadow box was embellished using ‘Holy Vine Corner’ die by Wild Rose Studio. When creating, I love to mix and match products from different companies for some unique outcomes.

This was such a fun project to make and hope I have inspired you to grab a box and make something fun, festive and fabulous.
I have included a process video HERE.

It was an absolute honor and pleasure sharing my creativity with you all.
